The Secret of the Lost Amulet

Back when I was a kid, I was captivated by the 1985 movie “The Goonies,” which follows a group of kids on a perilous but thrilling adventure in search of hidden treasure. If only something like that could happen to me in my hometown!

Alas, the only treasure-hunting adventures took place in my imagination, as I explored the dark corners of my basement or back woods.

That’s why (finally, in my early 40s) I decided to write my own exciting tale of mystery and adventure…

The Secret of the Lost Amulet!

This is an idea that was percolating in my mind for years, and I’m so happy that I was able to see it through. I always wanted to write the kind of story that inspired me as a kid, and this is that book! It is written for middle-graders (ages 8-12) but I know that people of all ages can enjoy it.
